Side Panel Options

The type of frame dictates the type of side panel that should be used. There are different types of panels depending on the product selected. Mounting hardware is included, if not configured prior to shipment.

Select between two styles: Track or Divider. Either style allows the side panel to be removed for access to the electronics inside of the cabinet without having to take the monitor arm off. These side panel kits are available for use with vertical frames 30U – 48U in height and can be retrofitted to fit frames currently in the field.

Track Style
Based on the height and depth of the frame, each kit contains a panel and a track that fill the opening on the side of a frame. The track comes with a mount for one articulating arm. Additional mounts can be added or swapped out to accommodate additional items such as a keyboard tray. There are grommet holes above and below the track to route cables.

Due to how the track is installed, it allows the side panel to be removed from the outside, independent of the track. External fasteners near the top of the panel secure it in place. Articulating arm(s) and side panel fasteners sold separately.

Divider Style
Based on the height and depth of the frame, each kit contains three panels that fill the opening on the side of a frame. The middle panel (which is installed and secured in place first) has provisions for ONLY one articulating arm and a hole with a grommet to route cables.

The top and bottom panels can then be removed from the outside; independent of each other. Formed tabs lock the side panels into place at the bottom while external fasteners near the top secure the panels in place. Articulating arm and side panel fasteners sold separately.

The dual bracket allows two items to be mounted to the side. Most commonly, a monitor and keyboard.

Upgrade to the keyboard tray and monitor mount combo. It requires a special mounting bracket to be used with the track. The bracket has off-set holes for left or right side mounting so as to not infringe on removable panel.

Available in solid or vented versions, these side panels can be removed from the outside of the frame after it has been populated. Formed tabs lock the side panels into place at the bottom while external fasteners, two or four, near the top secure the panel in place. Select from one of three fastener choices – ordered separately.

ESQ®

There are several types of solid style side panels that are used to close off the side of ESQ® frames depending on the level of security and/or access needed.

Formed – Inside Removable: For applications where side access is limited and permanent fastening is needed.
Formed – Outside Removable: For requirements where side access is desired. No tools are required. Simply lift up and off.
Flat – Inside Removable: For applications where side access is limited and permanent fastening is needed. This type is commonly used when space constraints exist.
